2025 intake of Masters students

A new group of students from the University of Melbourne undertaking a Master of Science (Epidemiology), Master of Biostatistics or Master of Public Health develop their skills and research experience under the supervision of Cancer Council Victoria’s cancer epidemiologists. 

Research to help GPs identify cancer earlier

A new project is being led in collaboration with Cancer Council Victoria researchers that aims to give GPs better tools to identify patients at a greater risk of developing cancer based on their symptoms and genetics. If successful, the project will help GPs to detect cancer earlier and save lives.

Epidemiology & Cancer round-table discussion

Epidemiologists at Cancer Council Victoria’s Cancer Epidemiology Division play a vital role investigating the potential causes of cancer. Their work, including recent research on physical activity and cancer risk, helps shape public health campaigns and improve outcomes for cancer patients and survivors.
